Portico Quartet In Session

Jamie is joined in session by one of his favourite acts, British band Portico Quartet.

Jamie Cullum plays an hour of jazz music ranging from its heritage to its future.

This week he has one of his favourite acts in session; British band Portico Quartet, who are just about to release their new album Art In The Age Of Automation on Matthew Halsall's Gondwana Records later this month.

Since first featuring on the show back in 2011 Portico Quartet have morphed from a Mercury nominated jazz act to electronic trio and now to one of the most exciting groups playing in the UK today.

Originally hailing from London, they consist of Jack Wylie - Soprano Sax, Duncan Bellamy - Hang Drum, Milo Fitzpatrick - Double Bass and Keir Vine - Keyboards.
