6 Music's Hip Hop Hooray: 12 hours of Hip Hop & Music from its family tree

As part of 6 Music's Hip Hop Hooray, Huey celebrates Eric B & Rakim's Paid In Full, one of Hip Hop's landmark albums which is now 30 years old.

30 years ago Eric B & Rakim released Paid In Full, one of the landmark hip hop albums. Today Huey celebrates the legacy of the album with contributions from DJ Yoda, writer Brian Coleman, and Portishead's Geoff Barrow.

Coldcut played a huge part in the success of Paid In Full, their remix made the title track a hit here in the UK. 30 years after their remix they'll be talking to Huey about how it came about, and delivering a Paid In Full inspired guest mix for the show.

And of course Huey will be speaking to the G.O.A.T, the God MC, Rakim in a career spanning interview.

On top of all that, Huey will be raiding the 主播大秀's archive to pull out some vintage hip hop interviews and performances.
