Organist and guitarist Lucky Peterson and his band are in session at our Maida Vale studios. Long regarded as one of the blues world's most versatile artists, equally at home in gospel, soul, funk and jazz, Lucky also talks to Paul Jones about his early life growing up in his father's blues club in Buffalo, New York and the blues legends he met there who would influence his own music. He also looks back on his career which began at the age of 5 when he made his first recording under the supervision of legendary songwriter and producer Willie Dixon, his work with other artists including Etta James and his latest album, a tribute to Hammond organ legend, Jimmy Smith.
