Stephen Jardine gets to the heart of the news. Should cyclists take a test before taking to the roads? Plus an exclusive interview with former First Minister Jack McConnell.

PHONE IN: CYCLING REGULATION
'Wanton and furious driving' was the charge as cyclist Charlie Alliston was sentenced to 18 months this week after being found guilty for the death of Kim Briggs. The law is Victorian and originally drafted to regulate the handling of horses and the Government has ordered an urgent review of legislation. Should cyclists face similar charges to those in force for drivers?

Stephen asks: Do we need more regulation of cycling?
