Belinda Carlisle, The Ayoub Sisters, and children's books inspired by Arran

Janice Forsyth speaks to Belinda Carlisle about the 30th anniversary of her Heaven on Earth album, plus Glasgow duo the Ayoub Sisters.

Belinda Carlisle is celebrating 30 years since the release of her single Heaven is a place on earth, with two new albums and a tour. She talks to Janice about yoga which has inspired her Wilder Shores album and plans for a musical based on the GoGos.

The classically trained Ayoub Sisters shot to fame when their version of Uptown Funk went viral on social media, they play live in studio.

The Flames is a Glasgow based theatre company exclusively for creative people over 50, who want to challenge pre-conceived ideas about how older people think. Janice hears about their forthcoming performance at Glasgow's CCA.

Annville is a new play by Scots playwright Martin Travers from the Citizens theatre. It's based on Flourish, a novel by Canadian writer and illustrator Heather Spears, which Martin read and was determined to turn into a play. On finding Heather he learned it was the true story of her great aunt who was murdered in Lanark in 1883.

Janice talks to Irish singer/songwriter legend Paul Brady about his new album Unfinished Business.

And she hears about the latest book in the Thumble Tumble series by Glasgow children's writer AH Proctor, which features international Scottish footballer Robert Snodgrass!
