Reports and results from around the country in the SPFL. The first Old Firm match of the season takes centre stage this weekend as Pedro Caixinha's Rangers host Brendan Rodgers's Celtic at lunchtime. Then at three o'clock, Hibs are in Dingwall to play Ross County, St Johnstone and Hamilton meet in Perth and Kilmarnock take on Dundee. Plus updates from Firhill as Partick Thistle play Hearts. Also, a preview of Sunday's Motherwell versus Aberdeen match, three days after the teams met in the League Cup.
