Arkady Ostrovsky is a Russian-born, British journalist who has spent fifteen years reporting from Moscow, first for the Financial Times and then as a bureau chief for The Economist. He studied Russian theatre history in Moscow and holds a PhD in English Literature from Cambridge University. His translation of Tom Stoppard's trilogy, The Coast of Utopia, has been published and staged in Russia. The Invention Of Russia: The Journey From Gorbachev鈥檚 Freedom To Putin鈥檚 War was published in September 2015.

Mikhail Zygar is the former editor in chief of the only independent TV station in Russia, TV Rain (Dozhd). Previously, he worked for Newsweek Russia and the business daily Kommersant. Zelfira Tregulova, has been the curator and Director of the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow since 2015. The Tretyakov Gallery (est. 1856) is the largest in Moscow and showcases Russian fine art from the 11th - early 20th C. There is also a sister gallery, New Tretyakov, housing modern art from 20th C. to the present. Since 2013, Tregulova worked as director of the Rosizo State Museum and Exhibition Center in Moscow, through which she organized projects in Moscow and Russia, as well as a number of exhibitions abroad, including at Tate Modern in London. She previously served as Deputy Director General for Exhibitions and International Relations at the Moscow Kremlin Museum. She was co-curator of the 鈥淩USSIA!鈥� exhibition at the Guggenheim in 2005.聽
