Ian Rankin, The Stereophonics and Luminate

Ian Rankin, Bobby Bluebell and Euan McColm have a new band. Nicola Meighan talks to The Stereophonics. Plus we review Phillip Pullman's latest book in our Tuesday Review.

Scotland's hottest "Dad band" Best Picture have been getting a lot of attention recently, mainly because their members are Ian Rankin, Bobby Bluebell, and Euan McColm. Janice finds out how it all came about.

Nicola Meighan talks to The Stereophonics about their new album Scream Above the Sounds.

Janice taps into Luminate, Scotland's festival of creative ageing, and a play called Old Boy about three sets of grandfathers and grandsons who explore their relationships.

Belinda Lang (of 2.4 Children fame) tells Janice about Duet For One, a play about a violinist coming to terms with life-changing illness.

Plus we'll have our regular Tuesday Review with Andrea Mullaney, Peter Ross and Heath Sheridan who'll give their thoughts on Philip Pullman's long awaited BOOK OF DUST, VOL 1 La Belle Sauvage, Scottish Opera's Opera Bambino, and the second series of Netflix hit Stranger Things.
