We all know that cars aren't very environmentally friendly, and over the years people have come up with a variety of ways of reducing the impact that cars have on the environment. From electric cars to using biofuels, Air an Rathad has kept an eye on these advancements. What has changed over the last ten years? Are things any better than they were?

We'll see how electric and hybrid cars have changed, with Donnie driving a Nissan Leaf, Fiona trying out a Renault Twizy, and Murray taking a Tesla P85D out for a spin. And we'll take a look at alternative fuels - is it possible to save both money and the environment?
