Rev Kate Bottley plays spiritually uplifting and inspiring music with hymns, gospel and choral classics and special Advent Carols to mark the start of the Advent season, the time of preparation for Christmas. Throughout Advent Kate will be exploring the theme of light and the idea that Jesus is the known as the 'Light of the World'. Traditionally in Advent a different candle is lit on the Advent Wreath each Sunday in churches, and so Kate will be thinking about what those candles symbolise, the first being 'the patriarchs' Abraham, the father of the faith and David, the ancestor in whose city Jesus was born.
