Storm Eleanor could produce gusts of up to 90mph as it sweeps across the UK overnight. The Environment Agency has warned people to stay inside and not to take 'storm selfies'.

The UK storm warning has been raised - because the weather system that will hit the UK has gained strength.

Storm Eleanor is expected to bring gusts of up to 90 miles per hour to coastal areas. There is an amber storm warning for Northern England, Northern Ireland, and South West Scotland. People are being encouraged to stay inside and the Environment Agency is warning people NOT to put themselves in danger by taking "storm selfies".
