British families explore the idea of moving to Australia or New Zealand. Sheldon feels a move to Australia will help his family enjoy a better pace of life.

The Fearon family from Dagenham, east London, have reached a dilemma that needs to be settled once and for all - to stay in the UK, where they have a happy, settled and prosperous life, or risk it all on a move across the world to Australia.

Meet the Fearon family - dad Sheldon, mum Shelly Ann, Shelletha, aged 11, and Shellomi, who is six. Originally both Sheldon and Shelly Ann are from Jamaica but it is fair to say that in their case, opposites attract. Sheldon is loving life with his laid-back attitude, while Shelly Ann is high powered and driven - but together it just works!

Now, to add to their differences, Sheldon wants to make a move to Australia. He yearns for the warmth he remembers from growing up in Jamaica. In the UK, Sheldon works as a plumber. It is a job that suits his personality. But Shelly Ann is less hot on the idea. She in some ways feel responsible, as she was the one who originally wanted to emigrate. But recently she has been promoted to a hugely responsible job in the police communications department and loves her senior position.

Across a trial week, they get to see where they might live, what they can afford and the jobs they could get if they emigrated. At the end, they come to a final decision and vote on where the family should spend the rest of their lives. Sheldon knows he has got his work cut out to persuade Shelly Ann to go. So the heat is definitely on - let's hope the week doesn't prove to be too hot for them to handle.
