A think tank has suggested that all 25-year-old UK-born citizens should be paid a one-off capital dividend of 拢10,000 from 2030, providing a universal minimum inheritance for all. Their report suggests that the lump sum would be paid at an age where young people are looking to invest in their futures, for example through buying a property, investing in education, or starting a business.
Should every 25 year old be given 拢10,000 no strings attached?
