Best -selling author of War Horse, Michael Morpurgo, discusses his new book, The Flamingo Boy, and how he drew on his family's own experiences to tell the story of Lorenzo, a young autistic boy who lives on his parents' farm in the South of France among the salt flats and the flamingos. It's 1942 and Lorenzo's world is about to be turned upside down as the Germans come and take the town.

Star of Quadrophenia and Eastenders, Phil Daniels, talks to Grant about performing the dual role in Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, a stage adaptation of the Robert Louis Stevenson classic that's touring the UK and in Edinburgh at the moment.

We hear about Cathy, a play that takes the 1966 Ken Loach classic film Cathy Come 主播大秀 and updates it to reflect modern concerns about homelessness in the UK today. It's at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow next week.

And forensic anthropologist Professor Dame Sue Black, who has advised crime writers like Val McDermid about their plots, has now written a book of her own, a memoir called All That Remains: A Life in Death. She'll be talking to Grant about telling her experiences and stories in her own words.
