Pensioners should be taxed more and the money spent on the young and the NHS, a new report into inter-generational fairness in the UK suggests. The chair of the Resolution Foundation, Lord Willetts, said the contract between young and old had "broken down".

FACIAL HATE CRIME
Rory McGuire from Ayr says that a lifetime of torment and abuse, due to a facial disfigurement, left him hoping that he would die. He is now fronting a campaign to try and get others to report this kind of abuse as a hate crime.
