Stationed at Castle Archdale in Fermanagh during WW2 - home-ground for Frankie and Rita. They trained as WAAFs over seventy years ago and speak very fondly of their time stationed together in the same huts.聽

Special celebrations are being held this weekend at Castle Archdale to mark 100 years of the RAF. It played such an important role in WW2 as a base for flying boats, which protected the ships in the聽Atlantic from聽German聽U-boats.聽

Liam Boyle is the first person to build a Cot in fifty years, which is being launched on Saturday at Knockninny聽beside Aughakillymaude.聽He always had an affinity with Lough Erne and it was always his intention to build some kind of vessel.聽
