Withered Hand, Bloody Scotland and author Tom Marcus

Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Dan Willson, aka 'Withered Hand', is live in session.

Writer and broadcaster, Andrew Collins, discusses the new updated edition of his official biography on Singer-songwriter Billy Bragg - Still Suitable For Miners: tracing his life, family and career at close range from Barking to the present day. This 20th anniversary edition has been updated to include the rise of Corbyn, the unfolding of Brexit, Billy's reclamation of skiffle and his overtures into Americana.

Scotland's International Crime Writing Festival BLOODY SCOTLAND takes place in Stirling from 21st-23rd Sept this year - the line-up has just been announced, and we'll hear from one of the founders of the festival - Tartan Noir crime novelist and screenwriter, Lin Anderson .

Janice will also discuss the new DVD release of the classic Spencer Tracy film, Inherit the Wind, which tackles the creationism vs. evolution debate and also operates as a searing critique of McCarthyism. Inherit the Wind was nominated for multiple Academy Awards, and is rightfully recognised as one of the most entertaining, and provocative films of its era.

The bestselling author of Soldier Spy, former MI5 officer Tom Marcus, will be on hand to discuss his debut novel, Capture or Kill and Janice will also have a brand new single of the week.
