Dunboe Presbyterians remember the families that left for America 300 years ago, a Bio Blitz at Jubilee Farm and Whitehead Woods is adorned with woolly creations.
The First Presbyterian Church is holding a unique exhibition in memory of the families that left for America 300 years ago, Jubilee Farm at Drumalis Retreat launch a Bio Blitz to record all the species in the area and Whitehead Woods will be adorned with woolly creations in the theme of Alice in Wonderland. Presented by Anne Marie McAleese with the people, places and stories that make Northern Ireland unique.

Whitehead Woollen Woods
If you go down to the woods today be sure of a big surprise because Whitehead Woods will be full of wonderful woolly creations in the theme of Alice in Wonderland. The results are from hundreds of knitting groups, individuals and schools in the community. Anne Marie talks to Jane Moore, event organiser, who is a champion knitter.聽
In Search of a New World
The First Dunboe Presbyterian Church will be holding an exhibition that tells the story of 160 parishioners who emigrated to America 300 years ago. Anne Marie meets up with Alison McCaughan, one of the organisers about what will be a unique experience.
Drumalis Bio Blitz
Helen Mark met up with Johnny Hanson at Jubilee Farm in the beautiful聽walled garden at Drumalis Retreat in Larne. Next weekend they will be launching a Bio Blitz of Science and Nature with walks and talks. The aim is to learn and celebrate the diversity of living species that can be found in the area.聽
