Amy Lam茅's joined in the studio this week by Jeff Horton, owner of the 100 Club to chat about a brand new book celebrating 75 years of the iconic London venue.

Amy Lam茅 is joined by Jeff Horton, owner of the 100 Club to chat about a brand new book celebrating 75 years of the iconic London venue.

Throughout the decades the 100 Club has championed several ground breaking scenes including the blues of Muddy Waters and BB King; the 60s mod styling's of The Who and The Kinks; the birth of punk with the Sex Pistols, The Clash and Siouxsie & The Banshees; regular reggae sessions from Eddie Grant and The Mighty Diamonds in the 70s; the first ever Northern Soul All Nighter in the 80s; the indie explosion with early shows from Oasis and Suede in the 90s as well as key shows for artists such as The Horrors, Gallows and Kings Of Leon in the 00s.

A broadcaster, performer and writer, Amy has been a regular voice on 6 Music. As well as sitting in for Tom Ravenscroft, Lauren Laverne, Nemone and Steve Lamacq, she has also presented one-off specials. These include the Sunday Service slot last year, where she explored the music that led up to Gay Liberation in the late 1960s, the music that drove the movement forward and the songs that inspired her, as part of 6 Music's Loud and Proud season.
