The wait is over for thousands of pupils across the country - how important are exam results? John Beattie takes your calls. Plus an interview with Mark Meechan.

Thousands of students across Scotland are due to find out how well they have performed in their exams. More than 135,000 pupils will learn how well they did in their National 4 and 5s, Highers and Advanced Highers.

Sue Palmer, the author of Toxic Childhood and chair of Upstart Scotland , has called on the Scottish Government to raise the age children start primary school "as a matter of urgency" to help prevent a surge in mental health problems. Vessa-Pekka Karinen is a Pre-school teacher in Finland.
