We're in Edinburgh for the festival, broadcasting live from outside the Royal Observatory on Blackford Hill.

Mark takes a look round The Lost Words exhibition at the Royal Botanic Gardens. It's a collaboration between writer Robert Macfarlane and artist Jackie Morris that aims to address the lack of knowledge surrounding nature.

The Water of Leith runs through the heart of Edinburgh and is an oasis for wildlife among the hustle of the city. Euan finds out more about it and those who look after it.

We take a wander round the streets of the centre at Festival time to soak up the atmosphere.

Zugunruhe is an ornithological term for migratory restlessness in birds, and it's also the title of a show at the festival which explores the incredible flight of the marsh warbler. Euan hears all about it.

Jim Smith has made his name on the stand-up comedy circuit across Scotland over the last few years. But as well as having a successful career in comedy, he's also a farmer based in Perthshire. Mark and Euan find out how he manages to balance both roles.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe always succeeds in bringing unique shows in unique venues to audiences, and this year is no different. Mark explores the Pianodrome, a venue made from discarded upright pianos.
