Live coverage of the 2018 European Championships from Glasgow. All eyes are on Loch Lomond on Thursday morning as double Olympic silver medallist Jazz Carlin attempts to ensure her switch to open water swimming is a successful one.

Carlin won her pair of silver medals in the 400m and 800m freestyle in the pool in Brazil two summers ago but she will attempt to take glory in the 10km race.

Also catching the eye on a busy morning is the women's heptathlon, in which Katarina Johnson-Thompson begins her bid for a memorable hat-trick in 2018.

Johnson-Thompson has already won Commonwealth and world indoor gold this year - her bid to continue that memorable run begins with the 100m hurdles, high jump and javelin this morning.
