Gabby Logan and Clare Balding are in Glasgow to host the 2018 European Championships. The Scottish city is co-hosting the multi-sport championships with Berlin and it's the Olympic Stadium in Germany which features heavily on Friday night.

Katarina Johnson-Thompson has already won Commonwealth and world indoor gold this year - her bid for a memorable 2018 hat-trick continues with the conclusion of the heptathlon. Andrew Pozzi also claimed the world indoor gold in March and is desperate to add the European outdoor 110m hurdles title to his collection. GB teammate Morgan Lake will be a medal contender in the women's high jump while the men's 400m final could feature Britain's two-time defending champion Martyn Rooney and 2014 silver medallist Matthew Hudson-Smith.
