The new series launches with a spectacular red carpet event as the Strictly family dance to a medley of Nile Rodgers' greatest hits performed by Chic and Nile himself. It is then down to business as Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman pair up the 15 celebrities with their professional dance partners. The Strictly dancers also perform an amazing group routine to introduce the three new members, and the celebrities take to the floor for their first group performance.
