Mark is at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature UK Peatland conference in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Peatland covers a fifth of Scotland鈥檚 land area so it鈥檚 crucial that it鈥檚 looked after.

New Zealand farmer Doug Avery has just completed a talking tour of Scotland speaking to almost 2,000 people about his life in agriculture. His book The Resilient Farmer is a best seller in his native New Zealand. He tells Mark all about the events which changed his life.

Ahead of 主播大秀 Scotland鈥檚 Landward exclusive on beaver numbers in Scotland, Euan speaks to a farmer in Perthshire about the impact they are having on crops and farmland.

The area of Anderston in Glasgow was transformed with the arrival of the motorway in the 1960s. Now it鈥檚 entering another period of change as Mark finds out when he has a wander around.

Euan is in search of the water of life at the first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay which opened last year.

The Airlie Monument is well known sight in the Angus Glens. The tower in Glen Prosen has fallen into disrepair but Airlie Estate has plans for the building as Mark finds out.

Helen visits West Harris Trust鈥檚 community hub Talla Na Mara. It is home to a restaurant, gallery, offices and affordable housing, all built by the community owned trust.

Mark uses pedal power to explore Glasgow and view the city in a new light with Glasgow Bike Tours.
