Sectarianism, tribalism, division have often appeared deep. How to fix them has been a perennial difficulty for many generations. The role of the churches has frequently come into question, none more so than in a challenging contribution by Dr Fergus O'Ferral, former lay leader of the Methodist Church in Ireland.
