Maya auditions for the world-famous black opera, Gershwin's Porgy and Bess in 1950's San Francisco. Stars Pippa Bennett-Warner.

Maya begins her singing career at the Purple Onion, where she gets to meet the cast of the famous black opera Porgy and Bess.

To her surprise she gets to audition for the company, with the prospect of a world tour.
