This week鈥檚 edition features the exclusive first play of a gorgeous brand new work for solo violin by Bryce Dessner from American band The National. The piece is called Ornament and Crime and it was recorded in August by violinist Tim Fain during the PEOPLE event at the Funkhaus in Berlin.

Elizabeth also brings you an exclusive first play of a new work by Manchester composer Joe Duddell. There鈥檒l be wintry cello music by Zoe Keating, experimental saxophone music by Daniel Thorne, sounds that ripple and sparkle by the electro-jazz supergroup Szun Waves and the spirit of Daphne Oram channelled through composer, academic and instrument creator Tom Richards.

Group Listening perform a creation by Euros Childs, we look ahead to the excellent Organ Reframed festival at Union Chapel Islington with music by electronic duo Darkstar and Irish and Nordic cultural traditions collide in the work of Slow Moving Clouds
