Grant Stott will be talking to Boy George ahead of the release of LIFE - Culture Club’s first album in 20 years. The band re-formed 4 years ago and after a mammoth tour in USA they are about to embark on a UK tour including the SSE Hydro in Glasgow in November.

Richard Ashcroft became one of Britpop’s most recognisable faces as the front man with The Verve. Their 1997 album Urban Hymns became of the best-selling albums in UK chart history. After the band broke up Richard Ashcroft went solo. His first album was another UK number 1, receiving platinum status. He’s just released his fifth album Natural Rebel and joins Grant to talk about this and his inspirations for song writing.

Ireland’s finest hip-hop musical comedian Abandoman – Rob Broderick drops into the studio between shows in Glasgow and Edinburgh to chat to Grant about his show Pirate Radio – a big hit during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He may even do a bit of live ‘improv’ – anything could happen!

Former Royal Conservatoire Student Kate Donne is launching her newly published 'Bobby Muldoon' trilogy, which will include a dramatisation of the book. The event brings together an excellent cast including award-winning actor, Billy Mack. Both join Grant in the Studio to tell him more about the comedy set in 1960s Gorbals.

Glasgow artist Allan Whyte opens a sculptural installation created from material salvaged from the Glasgow School of Art’s Mackintosh Building at the New Glasgow Society gallery in Glasgow’s west end. Our reporter Bronwen Livingstone gets a guided tour.
