Comedian Mark Nelson talks about new Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Scotland panel show The Good, the Bad and the Unexpected, and composer Patrick Doyle talks about two special Celtic Connections gigs.

Janice is joined by Mark Nelson as he tells us all about his new Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Scotland show ‘The Good, The Bad, and The Unexpected’.

PATRICK DOYLE will be celebrated with two concerts at this year’s Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow, starting with a world premiere of Disney’s Brave on Saturday the 19th of January, performed by the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and then on the 24th of January a companion show celebrates Patrick’s life’s work, including two brand-new pieces Patrick has specially composed for the occasion. He joins Janice in the studio!

Inky Fingers is a monthly poetry and spoken word open mic night held on the first Tuesday of the month, and hosted by Ross McCleary. Their featured guest is writer and poet Nadine Aisha Jassat – she and Ross share what the event is all about.

Arabella Weir joins us ahead of the return of Award Winning Comedy Series, Two Doors Down, which starts on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Two on Monday January 7 at 10pm.
