After her son鈥檚 road accident, Maya鈥檚 helped by the kindness of Ghana鈥檚 famous poet and playwright Efua Sutherland.

She鈥檚 also helped by ex-pat鈥檚 living close by, whom she names as the 鈥榬evolutionary returnees鈥�.

As a group of Black Americans they are all hoping to assimilate into Ghanaian life, but it鈥檚 not quite as they expected.

The fifth volume of Maya Angelou鈥檚 extraordinary memoirs.
