Fairytales and Laziness

Are many of us living in a fairytale world where we expect too much? Why does everything have to be perfect immediately? And are we simply too lazy and making excuses all the time?

Vinny is joined by Naomh McilHatton and Nicola Weir.

Lies, damned Lies and Fairytales - Are many of us living in a fairytale world where we expect too much? For instance Love – is it all nonsense? Do Hollywood movies make us all wait for your one true love instead of getting with Mr Right for now? Why do we want everything to be perfect right now?

And are we becoming more and more lazy? Its only three weeks into January and many of us have failed to keep our new year’s resolutions – Why are we kidding ourselves that we don’t have the time or resources when usually they’re just excuses and we all need a good kick up the behind?! And because we are so lazy we end up making excuses eg As the final deadline to pay taxes approaches HMRC release the best excuses for not paying or filing in time last year and Vinny and guests will let you know what they are.

Our miniseries - What I wish I'd known when I was 25 continues with Father Martin Magill telling Vinny why he chose the priesthood.
