Ghost: The Musical, Park Circus and Clique

We hear from two of the stars of Ghost: The Musical. Plus series two of Clique, a psychological thriller based in Edinburgh.

Grant Stott talks to Niall Sheehy and Jacqui Dubois – two of the stars in Bill Kenwright’s beautiful’ and ‘spectacular’ production of Ghost: The Musical - the timeless story of love, despair and hope which returns to the UK in 2019, following the success of its international tour.

Ahead of its screening at the Glasgow Film Festival we’ll also hear from actor Kevin Guthrie (from Sunset Song and Sunshine on Leith) discussing Connect a heartfelt drama and an ambitious attempt to confront the issue of suicide among young men – increasingly a major issue in Scotland.

Grant also discusses Series 2 of Clique - a psychological thriller, based in Edinburgh, which explores the power of friendship between ambitious young people at University; currently airing online on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Three, it’s set to premiere tonight on Ö÷²¥´óÐã’s newly launched channel Ö÷²¥´óÐã Scotland at 10pm.

Arts Critic Peter Ross discusses Human Desire; a hard-edged and chilling film-noir from legendary filmmaker Fritz Lang, starring Glenn Ford and Gloria Grahame. Its a startlingly dark, late film noir masterwork by the director, casting a pitiless eye on all of the human weaknesses that define film noir: deception, infidelity, passion, and murder!

All that and the next instalment in our on-going series of features on ‘Scottish Success stories’ we’ll have a special report on PARK CIRCUS - a world-leading Film distributor based in Glasgow with offices in London, Paris and Los Angeles.
