In this episode we meet Jay, one of the few boy dancers on the freestyle circuit and Abbey, who changed dance schools so she could go to more competitions.

Scotland鈥檚 answer to Billy Elliot, Jay from Inverkeithing in Fife, has managed to convince his dad to support his love of freestyle dancing. But this weekend, Jay is due to compete at the Scottish Solo Star Championships in Easterhouse,Glasgow, and his dad, Iain, is working. Will his dad make it to the competition in time to see Jay reach the final?

Abbey and her mum Lynsey, from Maryhill in Glasgow, changed dance schools so that ambitious Abbey can fufill her dream of dancing at as many competitions as possible. At the Scottish Solo Star Championships the competition is fierce, and Abbey has a battle on her hands to get to the final.
