Barristers Sasha and Jeremy look back at the questionable case against Alfred Moore. They find that Moore’s daughter is now more determined than ever to clear her father’s name.

Top barristers Sasha Wass and Jeremy Dein look back at their investigation of the murders of two policemen in the 1950s and the mysterious case, conviction and execution of Alfred Moore.

Huddersfield, 1951. Two policemen were shot dead in cold blood while staking out the farmhouse of suspected burglar Alfred Moore. Nearly 65 years later, convinced of her father’s innocence, Moore’s daughter Bronwyne teamed up with Jeremy and Sasha to reinvestigate the case.

With no murder weapon and a number of other suspects in the frame – notably a local gangster - Jeremy and Sasha had some serious concerns about the conviction. But could they do enough to convince a modern-day Crown Court judge that the conviction was unsafe?

Now it’s nearly a year on from their investigation, and Jeremy and Sasha catch up with Bronwyne to find out how she took the judge’s verdict. They find out that she has been gathering new evidence and is now more determined than ever to officially clear her father’s name.
