The first chaplain to the sport of shinty has been announced at the Kyles Club on the Cowal peninsula. Results of an underwater excavation in Bolivia鈥檚 Lake Titicaca in 2013 have only just been revealed, with the objects discovered shedding new light on the religious and spiritual practices of the people who lived there, and how these practices played a significant role in the development of the Tiwanaku civilization. Dr Donna Yates, a Lecturer in Antiquities Trafficking and Art Crime at Glasgow University, who has been involved in previous archaeological digs in the Tiwanaku area, reveals some of the secrets of this mysterious civilization.
