In the east of Scotland, three striking homes compete for a place in the final. The judges consider a farmhouse, a bungalow and a stunningly designed wheelchair-accessible home.

Three property experts are on the hunt for Scotland’s Ö÷²¥´óÐã of the Year. They are architect and university teacher Michael Angus, renowned Glasgow-based interior designer Anna Campbell-Jones and globally recognised lifestyle blogger Kate Spiers. This time, they are in the east of Scotland with three homes to consider.

They visit a renovated B-listed farmhouse on the outskirts of North Berwick. With its traditional exterior and contemporary inside, it is a delight for our judges. In Edinburgh, they find a wheelchair-accessible home with a flair for design - and a feature ramp. Then, in Dalgety Bay, the transformations made to a simple 1970s bungalow take our judges’ breath away. Each home is scored out of ten for functionality, distinctiveness and clever design - but only one can make it through to the final.
