Why do you watch reality TV?
ITV executives are giving evidence to a group of MPs about the care and support they provide to reality TV guests. The Culture Media and Sport Select Committee announced the inquiry following ITV's decision to cancel the long-running Jeremy Kyle Show. The decision was taken after the death of a contributor a week after filming an episode of the programme. There have also been concerns about the wellbeing of contestants on ITV2's Love Island, following the death of two former participants.
Have you ever taken part in a reality television programme, or applied to take part?
What do you get out of watching reality TV - is it escapism or voyeurism?
