Hebridean Whale Trail, Biggar Gasworks and Sea Eagles

Mark Stephen heads to Mull to explore a stretch of the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trail, and he tours Biggar Gasworks.

Biggar Gasworks was one of the first small town gasworks to open and is now the last remaining example in Scotland. Mark gets a tour to find out the history of ‘town gas’.

The reintroduction of White Tailed Eagles to Mull in the 1970s was so successful that Mull is now often dubbed Eagle Island. Mark goes to try and spot this year’s chicks that are living in a nest in a rather interesting location.
