Meet Jamie Genevieve, the 26-year-old Scot from the small town of Tillicoultry and one of the most-followed beauty bloggers in Britain, with over a million followers on Instagram and 800,000 on YouTube.

Young children used to say they want to be an actor, footballer or pop star when they grow up. But today, many say that they want to be a YouTuber and Jamie, who she says struck it lucky to catch the vlogging wave early on, is now one of the UK’s top online ‘influencers’. The glamorous life she now lives is at odds with her goofy, girl-next-door personality, where Jamie will happily post online vlogs about herself at home, make-up free, in her slacks messing about with her giant dog Drogba and fiancé Jack, along with the beauty tutorials they produce together for some of the world’s top make-up brands.
