Janice Forsyth returns to the V&A Dundee one year after broadcasting the first ever live show from Scotland’s first design museum to celebrate its anniversary by exploring arts, culture and music in the city with a host of speakers and live performances.

We’ll hear from the architect of the building Kengo Kuma. We’ll have live music from Garage Soul band Holy Snakes. Nicola, Kit and SHHE talk about the music scene in Dundee and how it’s evolved over the years, and pay tribute to Alistair ‘Breeks’ Brodie, the owner of Dundee’s famous record store Groucho’s, who died in July.

Janice reveals her new Single of the Week from Stephanie Cheape who performs Cool My Mind live on the programme.

We hear about the West Ward Works project, a proposed arts and culture venue in Dundee on the site of the DC Thompson building from Project Leader David Cook and UNESCO City of Design Lead Officer, Annie Marrs.

Representatives from Dundee Contemporary Arts, Amina Muslim Women’s Resource Centre and UNESCO City of Design discuss the future of arts and culture in Dundee and how they are striving to reach minority and rural communities so that as many as possible can benefit from the arts.

We hear about one of the major upcoming exhibitions in the museum, ‘Hello, Robot’, taking visitors on a journey investigating the science and fiction of robots and how they’re changing the world we live in from Philip Long, designers of a special robotic arm that’s currently on display - Thibault Brevet and Andrea Anner, and Kirsty Hassard the Exhibition Curator.
