Shefford

Karen and Duncan in Shefford complain their garden is too plain. As they don’t like straight lines, they want curves instead!

Karen and Duncan live in Shefford, but Duncan is always complaining that their garden is too basic and plain. He would like it to be modern, but also contain elements of a rustic, cottage garden, and the couple also like the idea of a curved patio – they say they don’t like straight lines!

Harry and David Rich and Arit Anderson need to come up with designs for a space that is modern, low maintenance and perfect for attracting birds and wildlife. The brothers go for bespoke veg beds, a pair of curved hedges and a paved courtyard, while Arit’s plan offers a new circular lawn, a choice of paved seating areas and a vertical waterfall. Which will Karen and Duncan choose?
