2018 Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas is likely to target the world championship rainbow stripes here and become Britain鈥檚 third winner of the title after Chris Boardman and Sir Bradley Wiggins. His rivals include reigning champion Rohan Dennis of Australia, who is out to put a tumultuous few months behind him, having mysteriously abandoned the Tour de France midway through the race.
