Cathy MacDonald presents some of the successful performers from the first day of the children’s singing competitions from the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Monday is primarily the day the young Gaelic-speaking learners showcase their talents. The winners from various competitions will feature - including solo singing, traditional singing, folk groups, choral singing and action songs.

The winners of the prestigious James C MacPhee Memorial medals for singing will add to the special start to the week with a packed programme featuring choirs, poetry and drama.
