The Macs' Farm

In an attempt to save their failing egg farm, the Macs have opened their fields to campers wanting a staycation and are now planning their first ever festival, Wild Meadows.

It’s summer 2019 and the Macs' farm is buzzing with activity. This is the third year hard-pushed organic egg farmers, Danny and Susie MacMillan have opened their farm gates to campers. It’s been hard graft, but business is booming - every camping weekend and event is sold out.

The family’s entrepreneurial flair and the Brits' love of a quirky staycation has saved the Macs' farm - but with increasingly big ideas, this summer promises to stretch the whole family like never before.

The Macs’ farm seems to have found all the ingredients that tick the boxes for the British staycationer - beautiful setting, family friendly and personal service, local food producers, live music and the added bonus of Instagrammable chickens! But this summer they’re supersizing their efforts. As well as their camping and organic egg business, the family are going to organise a brand new music festival. Wild Meadows is the Macs' first foray into running a festival, and the stakes are high. While we follow a hectic summer of camping in the South Downs village of Ditchling with the fun-loving Macs, we also watch as they try to pull off their biggest challenge yet!
