Q - Please could you give me some advice on growing Umbrella bamboo (Fargesia murielae) indoors?

Q – We have 3 Himalayan birch ‘Snow queen’ (Betula utilis jacquemontii) which are 3-4 years old. We have staked them using rubber blocks and while they have been stable in the wind, the blocks have rubbed the bark causing damage. Should we take the ties off?
