Writer Tony Roper on The Steamie, which is coming to SSE Hydro in Glasgow for six special performances this month.

Glasgowā€™s favourite play, The Steamie is coming to The SSE Hydro in Glasgow for 6 special performances this month, having been specially redesigned for the venue! To discuss it all, Grant Stott speaks to writer and creator, Tony Roper - plus - Louise McCarthy and Gayle Telfer Stevens (who play Magrit and Dolly respectively..)

Multi award-winning folk singer Seth Lakeman joins Grant to talk about the release of his new single ā€˜Pilgrim Brotherā€™ - drawn from his upcoming album ā€˜A Pilgrimā€™s Taleā€™ ā€“ set for release on the 7th of February 2020 to mark a staggering four centuries since The Mayflower ship departed the UK!

Grant will also explore the awarding of the art worldā€™s most prestigious prize, - The Turner Prize - to all four finalists; thereā€™s been criticism and praise for the decision ā€“ and even some talk of this being the year that the culture industry gives up on winners and losers!!
