It is early summer and Shetland’s farmers are at their busiest. One family are especially under pressure, with both daughter and father in A&E with injuries when they have lambs to tend and sheep to shear. Wilma must take a break from her croft to undergo a serious operation at the Gilbert Bain. Having discovered a blockage, the surgeons realise that the best course of action is to remove her kidney. And a veteran farmer has a heart scare – and a perfect view of his farm from his hospital bed.
