A Welshman who relocated to Shetland 23 years ago is in A&E with a very sore shoulder. He fell against a fence and took out two fence posts, but did he break anything else? Jean, the community nurse on the little archipelago of Out Skerries, is out on her rounds seeing patients and delivering medicine as a one-woman health service. And the paramedics are out on the water and out of their comfort zones as the summer party sends off one pregnant paramedic and welcomes a new recruit.
