The Canadian team play their first ever Super League match against Castleford as the season kicks off with a mouthwatering set of fixtures.

Champions St Helens start the defence of their title against Salford, the team they defeated in last season鈥檚 grand final, whilst old rivals Wigan and Warrington are hoping their new recruits can deliver a winning start to the campaign when they face each other at the DW Stadium.

Supporters of Hull FC are anticipating a successful year after some heavy investment over the winter. Their first game is against Leeds, whilst Hull KR are at home to Wakefield.

Two of the big new arrivals from Australia, James Maloney and Aidan Sezer, are in opposition when Catalans take on Huddersfield.
